There are some restaurants that tolerate your children and others that treat them as guests. Crosby’s Kitchen definitely fits into the latter category. Open since 2012 in Lakeview’s Southport Corridor…
Kindest staff. I love their rotisserie chicken breast. The meat falls off the bone and is so moist + I ask for all white meat which can sometimes be dry but never at Crosby’s. The menu is full of delicious protein and fresh vegetables, everything is also incredibly well priced so you can eat there weekly (like us) and not break the bank.
The atmosphere is so lovely, and the staff is kind and always willing to accommodate allergies and work with the kitchen to ensure plates are to each persons liking. It’s hard to find such good service, quality food and good atmosphere for this process point anywhere else in Chicago. Highly recommended! Thanks, Crosbys!

I ordered $9 salmon filet to add to my wrightwood salad. I assumed i'dstill get the chicken since it was an add and not a sub. The container they used stunted the usual size of the salad. Its like triple the size when you order it in the restaurant. Feel stupid for spending the money.

It was ok, basic, fries were string fries. The mashed potatoes tasted weird like goat milk. Very small portions for price, very small like a scoop for $10. Will never order here.

Wrightwood salad is my fav, and Crosby's goes the extra mile by keeping chicken separate and adding jus to the container. Kids grilled cheese and fries were stale and honestly overpriced. Carrot cake was really good, but again, $11 seems a little pricey for a slice of carrot cake. It's large, but not large or unique enough to justify that price.

I can't believe it. I've always loved the Filet Sliders and buy them as often as I can afford to. But today, the filets - which I always order Medium Rare - were way too overcooked and even charred. What a waste of $19!!! However, I tried the carrot cake which is amazing. So one star down for the bad filets.
