I usually like this restaurant, but today was horrible. The K-Dawg was charred and inedible, but DoorDash refunded 60% off that cost. The bowls we got all taste old. I requested "sloppy" because we generally like more sauce than the norm, but the 2 Kids Bops were totally dry, and the others were sauced lightly. I've been getting Cupbop since they opened, and I know what normal is. It seems to be going downhill, which sucks because it used to be pretty good!

Idk what happened because they're usually pretty good but this time it tasted off, not sure how to explain it. Almost like the spices weren't mixed correctly. Also ordered extra meat and veggies but there wasn't any extra, just the standard amount. Really disappointed, couldn't even finish it because it just didn't taste right.

Everytime I order extra meat I only ever get the regular amount. Fairly disappointing but still very tasty nonetheless.

Cupbop is an Americanized implementation of a popular Asian fast food. I know it as "beefbowl" from several Japanese cartoons from the 80s (Urusei Yatsura, Lum is best girl) but I'm sure it's popular everywhere. Basically, it's a couple cups of steamed rice, a cup or so of protien, and a cup of veggies, with a lot of Asian BBQ sauce included. They're a very good alternative to a burger and fries, and if you're learning to meal prep at home, they make a very good template to target.
