Da Hong Pao always delivers the best quality food. The dimsums are very fresh, tasty and hot served . They even gave me free delicious egg tarts. Thank you Da Hong Pao! Recommend this wonderful restaurant for anyone looking for authentic dimsum in town.

Absolutely wonderful dim sum at a reasonable price. Authentic chinese food (not made up American Chinese food that doesnt exist anywhere in China). Exceptionally rich menu that includes abalone, sea cucumber and jelly fish. My go to dim sum place in DC.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I was absolutely blown away by this place. Maybe it was because I ordered at 9:30 pm and hadn't eaten all day but this was a meal where I was already looking forward to the next time that I'd be ordering - before I was even done with my food. The Steamed Pork & Shrimp Dumpling with Crab Roe and the Steamed King Prawn Dumpling were amazing. Packed with flavor and each bite was better than the last. Based on reading other reviews , I also ordered the Steamed Roast Pork Bun and the Salted Egg Yolk Custard Bun - both amazing. The pork bun reminded me of when I would pick a couple buns up from a local Chinese bakery in between college classes. It tasted the same - if not better. I cant wait to try the food in person if this is how good it was as takeout.

Chicken in lemon sauce for $26.35 was foul and inedible. Itwas not a chicken breast fillet despite the description. It was the same inedible, soggy pieces of breaded chicken that they use for their sweet and sour chicken/all other breaded chicken dishes. 1 star for that. Their dim sum dishes were better.

Nothing better than hot dimsum to warm your soul on a chilly, dreary winter night.
The Steamed Shrimp Rice Crepe was delicious, the crepe was silky and filled with juicy shrimp and topped with a slightly sweet savory sauce.
The Steamed Roast Pork Bun was too sweet for my liking. The filling was saccharine to begin with, and with the bun being a little gummy and sickly sweet, it felt like a dessert. I made a spicy sauce for it just to be able to eat it.
