I got the Pot Roast (monday) . My side choices were black eyed peas, and a Lima/corn mix. Everything was delicious. Very nice size of the roast with carrots and a tiny bit of onion. Yum. My one complaint was the serving size of the chess pie slice. It looked so tiny and sad all alone in its container. Probably won't order dessert from there again.

Wow! I just tried this place for the 1st time & it's definitely my new favorite. Chicken Fried Chicken (Tues, Thurs, and Saturday) was super delicious--moist inside, crispy & flavorful outside. Broccoli casserole was on point. Fried squash seasoned & fried just right. Everything was fabulous. Will definitely order again!

The Four Vegetable Plate was delicious—everything tasted fresh and homemade. Each vegetable is a bit under seasoned but had a nice balance of flavor. The textures were spot on, especially the crispy elements, which added a satisfying crunch. It felt like a comforting, home-cooked meal with great attention to detail. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a wholesome and flavorful veggie option!
The Chicken Pie had a creamy texture and was reminiscent of condensed soup with shredded chicken. While it was comforting in a simple way, it could benefit from more depth of flavor to really bring it to life. The three small biscuits on top were a nice touch, but I was hoping for a heartier crust or a bit more substance overall. With a few tweaks, it has the potential to be a much more satisfying dish.

The chickensalad and pimento cheese are superb, however, lately the amount of crackers that im getting with the plate are less amd less. Tonight it was 5.
