The curry chickpeas were AMAZING! the flavors were delish..the veggies were tender. the plantain was the best I've ever had! The food came looking EXACTLY like the picture! my 1st time trying this spot and my new go-to for lunch. large portions for the price as well!

Everything is GREAT !!! The macaroni is seasoned well and the kale as well the chicken is bomb cooked perfectly ive had my run ins with a few other vegan spots and something was wrong with the food and this is my first time ordering from here and theres ZERO complaints from me I love it and will be ordering again !

Everything was good, the Jerk Chicken wasn't too spicy and the Curry Chicken was flavorful. The Oxtail came with a lot of food and they were good.

This entire meal order was excellent. The Jerk chicken, the cabbage and the rice and peas were seasoned wonderfully and delicious . I truly enjoyed the food and would recommend The Diasporan Soul restaurant highly.

I couldn't NOT leave a review. This is some seriously flavorful, from the heart cooking. I got the vegan chicken meal. The "chicken" was well-seasoned, had depth and complexity (not easy for a vegan protein substitute) and was packed with juicy flavor. There was a pleasant level of spice that coats the palate and stays with you.
That being said, the real stars for me were the rice and peas (beans) and the cabbage. Again, they were packed with rich, deep flavor, and were cooked to perfection. They seriously transformed these humble ingredients into something greater than the sum of their parts.
The portions are generous. This one dish could feed both my wife and I for a meal.
The very last thing I'd ever call this food is bland.
