To find legit authentic barbecue in California is a treat. The brisket is amazing and the mac and cheese is better than my grandma Jo's, (she won 12 blue ribbons in a row in Austin for her mac and cheese). Do not sleep on this place!

The potatoes have been really bad the past couple months. They taste old and "gummy" and are also small in size. Back in the summer they were so tasty and big "giant" baker potatoes that tasted fresh and yummy. Sadly we will no longer be ordering from here as that was our favorite item.

Pulled Pork was not delivered, chopped brisket was dry and cut into huge dry chunks we had to slice up even smaller and drown in our own sauce because they didn't include the sauce we asked for, and the Crispy Fried Okra was burnt to a crisp, and it was only a half order - we paid for a large.

Did not get the potato salad that I had ordered and was charged $3.75 for???? Everything else was fine.....brisket was sliced a little thick (like 1/2"). 1/4" slices would have been more palatable, and less 'chew'....Taste/flavor and smoke were great. I am a smoked meats and comp chili aficionado.....

I have eaten at Dickeys many times. First time I ordered the beans because I love cole slaw which they do great. The beans were fabulous.
But it must have been an off night. The meat on the ribs were tough and only about 1/3 were eatable.
