As a Southern food enthusiast in the DMV area, I was thrilled to discover District Biscuit! We sampled their beignets (both powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar varieties), breakfast sandwich, tomato soup, ultimate breakfast, grits, and bacon.
Trying to find authentic Southern breakfast staples in this region is challenging and District Biscuit hits all the flavors of the south. Their biscuits are perfectly light and buttery, while their grits achieve that ideal creamy texture with wonderful flavor. If you're craving genuine Southern breakfast fare, this place is absolutely the best in the area.

Everything was wonderful. The breakfast Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich i got with chicken and it was delicious. The French Toast Biscuit i was worried would be drier, but it was smooth like butter it was custard-y on the inside and crispy on the outside. Grits were well seasoned and had a great texture. Hashbrown Patty was great as well. Not overcooked but crispy. I usually do not leave reviews but this was well worth the money.

Hits every time!! The hashbrown was exactly the right amount of crispy. The Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich was perfect. The Biscuit Beignets were sweet and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Y’all. This place is a must. I randomly found them on a delivery app, so I ordered for pick up. The biscuits are so soft and flavorful. I ordered like 4 different things and all four were amazing. The French toast made from the biscuit. Perfect. The vegetarian sausage gravy was so good and I’m not even vegetarian. I am a southern girl who has eaten a lot of biscuits from a lot of different places and this is the best biscuit. The customer service was great and quick. The seating area was really cute and nice. The only thing I would say is there should be more egg and bacon in the biscuit for the price point. The biscuit is great, but the bread overpowered the eggs and bacon. I would definitely recommend!

Everything is delicious! First time customer and definitely not the last. The portions are really good. I ordered The Ultimate Breakfast and my daughter got the French Toast Biscuit. Both of us are pleased. Thick country bacon...yesssss! Palm-sized sausage patties. Fluffy scrambled eggs. And the biscuits remind me of my great grandmother's. Took me straight back to Sunday morning breakfast as a child!
