Sooo good! First time eating here and I can't stop eating! The Fish & Chicken Dinner were perfectly seasoned. I love love LOVE the collard greens and cabbage. The Yams were a little too sweet for my taste, but my roommate absolutely loved them! They also were great for honoring my request for a chicken leg and thigh

The Fish & Chicken Dinner was absolutely phenomenal. I've genuinely never had better food in Fresno. This place is an actual 10/10. The Pecan Caramel Poundcake was more of a box cake but it was coated which made it pretty good 7/10. The Mac and cheese was peppery, the fried food was so well seasoned, and the yams were a bit sweet for my taste but my boyfriend loved them(I have a hispanic palate). One plate was enough to feed us both.

Ordered smothered meatloaf dinner. Two large slabs of meatloaf sitting on top of garlic mashed potatoes covered with delicious gravy. Had BBQ beans and Mac/cheese as sides. All delicious and wow cornbread too! Ordered spaghetti for a future meal. Can't wait!

Fish & Shrimp Dinner was tender, the cornmeal breading was the best I've had since leaving North Carolina. Both fish and shrimp were juicy and tender. Husband devoured the chicken legs, which were HUGE. Smothered Pork Chops w/Rice & Gravy are to die for, and the meat melts in your mouth just like their fish. Mac and cheese is homemade, and our picky daughter ate every bit. If you are looking for soul food, eat here. You will NOT regret it.

The servings were plentiful.
The seasonings were on point
The Fish & Shrimp Dinner was crunchy but a good crunch
The Macaroni and cheese and yams were very tasteful.
We also enjoyed the cornbread
