I think they just don't care. (Except about money) When they do a good job, I'll let them know right here. Just as I have before. But this is a VERY confusing place to order from if you don't understand what's going on here. I think DoorDash has dropped the ball on these places (yes, places---plural) by not telling the Dashers where they are actually going, and not explaining to customers (like those of us who have spent a great deal of money on DD including very large tips. HEY DASHERS: Would it kill you to say thanks for a $100 tip for one meal from Black Bear Diner which is 2.5 minutes from door to door?) Before I run out of room, you need to know this: This location is called Dublin Liquors, Dublin Liquor and Wine, The Ice Cream Shop, and a pizza place. (I haven't found the pizza place but they advertise making their fresh dough daily LOL! Yeah, right!!), as well as selling chicken wings and other pizza items. (I think they might have a secret thing going with Papa John's next door, and DD should look into this before the City shuts them all down, including DD doing business in Dublin. With food handling, you're playing with fire.) I ordered three 12 packs of Coke and 3 ice creams. (2 separate orders at the same time--I do it all the time everywhere, not just here). I put in the driver notes that you're going to the same place and there is no such place as The Ice Cream Shop. Only Dashers who have been there before know where it is. All others get totally lost. There is no ICE CREAM sign on the liquor store. My ice cream order came, but no Coke. I ran out to catch the driver (whom I had already tipped very well) and asked him what went wrong? He had no idea what I was talking about, but it's not his fault except for not reading my note to him that explained it all and made it simple. Long story short: He went back to get the Coke and returned to my door. Instead of three 12 packs of Coke, he held one 24 pack and one 12 pack that I have pictures of that I wish you could see. It's ripped to pieces and put back together with TONS of Scotch Tape. I know exactly what he did. He didn't have any 12 packs, so he went out to the dumpsters where the cardboard/recycled stuff goes for pickup. (There are always rat traps around these areas, yes, even at "nice" restaurants. Rats don't carry credit cards, they just steal LOL). So this taped-together 12 pack that was already emptied and thrown away was brought back in for me. How special. And yes, I am positive that it was already emptied and tossed away. You know how? EVERY SINGLE COKE WAS COLD. That means he emptied out the singles from the cooler to make that 12 pack. Bam! Got ya. If DD doesn't not force this business to abide by their rules and the City of Dublin liquor license, I will. Stop the games. We are paying you money for services. We are doing our part. Your turn. On July 1st, 2022, if things are not handled, this all goes to the City. DD and local businesses know exactly what this means. Thank you. (My tone is strong because I'm tired of complaining. NOW things will be fixed.)
