Everything was so good! The Kung Pao chicken was very spicy, honestly too spicy for me, and I do spice. So maybe ask for it less spicy or order something else. But the chicken was tender and veggies were perfect. The dumplings rule! Excited to go here in person and will be ordering delivery again.

Every dish was really good. S05.Shanghai-Style Pan-Fried Pork Buns (4 pcs) was so juicy it literally poured out like a soup dumpling but still crisp on the outside. G06.Braised Lion’s Head Meatballs was really tender and flavorful. Green V03.Dry-Braised String Beans were well seasoned and not too salty - great for my kid. Probably my top Chinese restaurant (shanghai style) in SF in this price range.

Some of the best Chinese food in SF and so fresh. Their chow mein is so good! I always order the G08.Sichuan Spicy Chicken to clear out the sinuses-:) Good portions too!

The B7. Shanghai-Style Green Onion Pancake was really delicate and crispy. Loved the layers. I have eaten and ordered many times from the Taraval location. The A05. Shanghai-Style Pan-Fried Pork Buns (4 Pieces) were only 4 when at Taraval they serve 6 in an order. They were also far too crispy to where is was really greasy when you but into it and left barely any of the soft tip part. The contrast is what is good. It shouldn't be like crackling. I guess I would have minded it if they weren't greasy.

I thought this was the original dumpling kitchen but it wasnt. I ordered the spicy wonton and wonton soup-- they were terrible. The wrap was huge and the filling was underseasoned. I know my dumplings. I will never come back!
