Finally found a great Chinese restaurant for dry beef chow fun! East Ocean puts plenty of the rice noodles in their dish and the flavor is spot on -- my taste buds are doing a happy dance. So many other restaurants give you too much bean sprouts and not enough noodles. I have dined in at East Ocean previously and had the Peking Duck, fried calamari and other dishes. Everything I have tried so far has been excellent.

Delicious!! I think this is the only place in Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Concord area that serves yellow feather steamed chicken served cold perfectly. Ginger-green onion sauce and soy sauce on the side were perfect match. I would highly recommend if you like Hinan chicken or Singapore chicken. This dish is simply good as cold appetizers too!

The ginger-green onion and soy sauce on the side are perfect condiments as well. If you like Hainan chicken and/or Singapore chicken, I would highly recommend. Just as a cold appetizer works too. Will definitely order again!

Sweet/sour pork was just OK. King Pao chicken was not spicy at all. Chow meain was just ok too, not enough prawns for the price. You should only come in for the dim sum.

food arrived well packaged and hot. bitter melon and beef was great. mapo tofu good but not very authentic. bbq bao was undercooked. sesame balls we're excellent, though! overall over priced, but would like to try again to see if they improve.
