• DoorDash reviewSeveral weeks ago I took my mom, son and 2 grandkids to Eckerts for a late breakfast/early lunch. The grands (12 and 10) shunned the kids menu and ordered adult meals! A the table we enjoyed Chicken Pot Pie, Caesar salad, chicken and waffles, chicken and dumplings and pulled pork lunch. Every thing was wonderful and every bite eaten. The service was excellent and the waitress treated the kids as adults which is the way they want to be treated.
My only complaint was I missed the biscuits and apple butter that used to accompany every meal.

• DoorDash orderI usually order the Family Chicken Dinner for 2 The chicken is always super big, sometimes fresh sometimes not. The Pretzel Bites are pretty good but the cheese is disgusting. It tastes like they use the square cheese for sandwiches and just melt it to make the pretzel cheese. The Biscuit Basket comes with apple butter and they are usually good if they are not old. The past 2-3 times the biscuits have been hard as bricks. The mac n cheese is good sometimes, sometimes its bland. I guess it just really depends on the cook if the food comes good or not.

• DoorDash orderThought I'd try it because of the reviews. It was just OK. Nothing stood out. Noodles were too thick and gummy. Think my homemade is better and more flavor. More like a brothy soup than a gravy type. Wasn't worth the high price.

• DoorDash orderDisappointing. The salad was warm. The chicken looked like thawed out frozen strips instead of cooked chicken breast and did not taste good at all. Got a container of BBQ sauce instead of Aunt Helen's dressing. This is not anywhere near the quality I've had in the restaurant at previous visits.
