German food gets a bad wrap in the US for being nothing but breaded fried food. Unfortunately, that's just German-American food.
Eidelweiss attaches fruit or veggies of some variety or another to almost every meal, and they are absolutely fresh. I can safely order a soup, salad, and iced tea lunch here, and know it will be healthy, delicious, fresh, AND affordable all in one.
THANK YOU, Edelweiss, for your continued excellence and dedication to amazing food, truly second time none. You are not only the best German restaurant in town, but you are THE BEST restaurant in town.

I wanted to try something different and this looked interesting. We got the chicken cordon blu and it was very good - maybe a touch salty but excellent with the vegetables. We all tried the pretzels with honey mustard sauce. Yum. We also tried a select of deserts. Cheesecake, German Chocolate cake, Raspberry torte, and cheesecake. We all had a bite of everything and loved it all.
