El Buen Comer is my favorite Mexican restaurant in San Francisco. The Pozole Verde With Chicken is divine: plenty of plump hominy and pieces of chicken. Also, the broth is exquisisitely thick, not watery. The tacos with carnitas were also very good; nothing beats a hand-made corn tortilla. These are my go-to choices whenever I order from here. This was my first time ordering Huevos Divorciados (PF). They were unforgettable. I so often get over- or under-cooked eggs when ordering at restaurants, but these were perfect, not at all greasy, and accompanied by just the right amount of frijoles and rice. I was worried the tortillas would be tough, since they're "lightly fried", but they weren't: no need for a knife! I will definitely be ordering them again. I just wish they would bring back their delicious PORK TAMALES which have been gone for almost a year now. I miss them every time I order from here.

1) Chile relleno properly made with queso fresco. Really good.
2) Pozole -- traditionally, this is served with cabbage, not lettuce, but it's really good, so I'll let that pass

the Mole Con Pollo was not tamales, so don't go with the picture. it's a family size portion of the chicken in mole sauce.

The carnitas quesadilla is so so good. The tortilla is perfect and the meat isnt too wet.
The Chile relleno is the best ive ever had. All the rice/beans/chips/guac are outstanding.
Best mexican option in the area and it delivers well too.
