Best chips, best flour & corn tortillas & best hot sauce & best Queso!!! There are so many Tex-Mex restaurant good choices but IMHO El Fenix still dominates these most important basics & is the reason they are the oldest restaurant in Dallas.

Two Chalupas were sloppy, soggy,
And tasteless. Paid extra for chicken and it was barely added on the Two Chalupas.
Bag of chips were fresh, hot sauce was bland.
Fresh Guacamole Half Pint was ok, not seasoned well.
Not the El Fenix were remember.
Wasted money. Didn't eat the Two Chalupas, too watery and gross looking .ingredients slid all over the container off the soggy tortilla.

Consistently great! Salad was fresh, street tacos had wonderfully grilled flavor and the menu has a good variety of enchilada platters. Queso with added beef is a real favorite!

The absolute BEST Mexican food. Only downfall was the fajitas came with barely enough meat for 2 tortillas. Definitely not as pictured. Chips were stale. I love this place but maybe it just loses it's luster in delivery.

The Veggie & Avocado Enchilada Plate was so good! The veggies tasted fresh and cooked just right and the sauce made it amazing!
