Normally the food we order from El Paso has been good. Tonight though there was a big miss. The CHORI TROPICALwas good as usual. I love the combination of the chorizo, bacon and pineapple. I did order extra extra chorizo this time because no matter where you order chorizo from you never get enough. I also ordered the additional 2oz cheese dip . I did not realize how small 2oz was. For the price I would not bother getting it again. The fail was with the Taco Salad Fajita-Style. The taco shell was pretty burnt and by the time we received it very soggy. There was way too much onion (gave me indigestion all night) and very little meat. It would have been better if the taco shell had been separate and then the ingredients combined by the diner to make the taco salad. No complaints with the Gomez Super Quesadilla and Queso Dip however, the chips always seem a bit stale.

We love the food at El Paso. My favorite is the CHORI TROPICAL . I love the mix of chorizo, pineapple and bacon. This is my go-to order whenever I order from here. I also like the Chori Dip. My only issue is with the way they package the Chori Dip for transport. It comes in the same aluminum container with the lid crimped on the top. Unfortunately when it gets tipped sideways, which is almost every time, it leaks all over the inside of the bag. It really should be inside a plastic container with a tight lid on it. Other than that everything is always top notch.

In general I love this restaurant, but they didn't give us the right flavor of Jarritos, and the El Paso dip was pretty flavorless and just tasted off. We couldn't even eat it. My arroz con Arroz Con Pollo (ACP) was amazing though, as always!
