I must say here & now that El Pollo Loco was a fantastic surprise this evening! I ordered one, Queso Guacamole Chicken Burrito , and it must've weighed about ten pounds by itself, it really did!!! Not to mention that it was Absolutely Freaking Dee-licious too; (this was a combo meal, and the price was well worth it. I kid you not...it comes with a side and a drink choice as well, so once again.
I also ordered one of the Chicken Taco al Carbon. again Dee-licious, amazing and whatever other adjectives along those lines that you can come up with to describe this handmade perfect example of the Mexican " Chicken Taco al Carbon ..."
Btw, I washed it all down with a 77i blended Strawberry Lemonade, tasty+

Our chicken was so dry, it looked like leather. some pieces so tough they were as hard as bones. The beans were quite bland, but spicy. really disappointed that I spent $50 on this 12pc Fire-Grilled Chicken Family Meal . I should have just went to Popeyes or KFC

In Los Angeles I ONLY order the double chicken tostada! Delicious, fresh, feels like a healthy option. Highly recommended. This time I ordered with the half Baja shrimp which was a giant mistep. Luckily, there were only six, but they were like spiced rocks. I ate one and took the rest out. Otherwise, the double chicken tostada is the way to GO!

The chicken at El Pollo Loco isnt what it used to be many years ago. On the two occasions I tried it, the chicken had little meat on the bones and was overcooked.

Everything tasted good, but I have no idea where they go to find the smallest chickens on earth. Not nearly enough chicken for the price.
