I’m usually not one to complain, and I’ve had decent in person experiences with this El Pollo Loco in the past, so despite the negative reviews, I gave it a chance. I regret that decision.
I live just down the street from this location, so I ordered a bowl (with no beans, due to a sensitivity that can trigger vomiting.) and paid extra for a large drink. When my order arrived, not only did it include the beans I specifically asked them to leave out, but the drink was missing. After contacting DoorDash, all they could offer me was a $5 credit—fine, but not really helpful in this situation.
Frustrated, I placed another order just for the drink I paid for. It took them *40 minutes* to hand a simple drink to the DoorDasher, for a location that’s right down the street from me. I didnt get my order for an hour after placing. This whole experience was a complete waste of time, and the service was just terrible. I won’t be ordering from here again.

My chicken was dry and definitely not fresh...I hot a 3 PC but the wing was so dried out there wasn't any edible meat on it...just crusty skin..Terrible meal! tge nachos was the only thing good..even the rice and beans were flavorless.
