food taste was fine. portion was ok.. wish they had included the common sauces usually served with dishes.

Ordered for the first time here. Ordered the Causa de Atun ($13), the Arroz Chaufa de Mixto ($21), and the Plantano Maduro ($9) side.
The food was hot and tasty, and the portions were large enough for more than one meal. In particular, the maduros were thick, tender and nicely fried brown, and the sauce for the causa was delicious. The mixed protiens (beef and chichen) in the fried rice were a little more well done than I prefer, but over all the dish was good.
The low rating comes from the fact that it took an hour and twenty minutes to fulfill my order. That is quite a long time for three items from a restaurant that is close by.
In addition, the second reason for my disappointment is that the causa is listed on their website as "layered with tuna salad" and the order I received didn't have any tuna in it at all, just potatoes, an egg, some lettuce and sauce. I am not Peruvian but Googling this dish shows most places have visible tuna in the dish. $13 is a lot for just chunks of potato in sauce.
