Other rest I was goingyo order from was closed. I've never eaten at El Sur.... and was reluctant to. I'm so glad other place was closed!!!!!
Food is absolutely amazing! The Caldo de Queso is one of the best I've had. A great serving of cheese and potatoes.

We eat here all the time and love the food. This is the first time I got the QUESABIRRIA PLT and it was delicious!The LA BANDERA ENCHILADAS Plt is always spot on and a great choice if you can't decide which enchilada to have.
El Sur has been in our top 3 go-tos for over a decade, and we have never had a bad experience.

Second time getting the tasty Chicken Mole Enchiladas Plate. Portions are smaller than what I'm used to but it's fine considering cost. Was bummed they ran out of Choco Flan but the regular flan satisfied my sugar craving just the same.

The Torta Milanesa was great. I liked the Tres Leches however it definitely came from a supermarket, was not house made. Now I don't always expect something to be house made however the pricetag from the grocery store was still on the container and it was about half the price of what I actually paid.

There isn't anything on El Sur's menu that I don't love. El Sur is one of my top restaurants in Tucson and one of the most authentic. The Red Chile con Carne is the best in the city. El Sur is an instution of exceptional Mexican food and great service.
