Pupusas are great but it doesnt come with the salsas and curtido that comes with it everywhere else unless you pay extra...

I've been enjoying El Zocalo for 40 years. Even though the pandemic changed thier menu, they still have the best papusas I have had. They seem to be using the same original recipes, and I also enjoy their enchiladas. They are known for taking their time cooking, and I taste the difference, well worth the wait!

So GOOD! I ordered the chicken and beef enchilada. Enjoyed the chicken more,
Was expecting steak strips/slices but it was ground beef. No worries though. The spicy gravy is thicker than standard enchilada sauce...super tasty as well.

Me and my family have been coming here for years they have some of the best pupusas around and good pupusas are hard to come by The enchiladas are also really good here.

If you order pupusas on doordash it fails to show that it comes with complimentary salsa and cortido 2-4oz each. good for maybe 6-8 pupusas.
