One of my favorite spots to eat! I ordered the fried Whole Tilapia with rice and fired plantian. I did have to call the restaurant to specify that I wanted Jollof Or Fried Rice as the main rice not the plain fried rice. They were very accommodating. The rice is cooked well with perfect seasoning, herbs and spices you'd expect from west African cuisine. The tailpipa was flavorful, well fried, and not dry. The heat/pepper was bearable, not overpowering. The cumber, tomato side was delicious and a nice complement to the entire meal. Reminds me of West African food I use to eat when I lived in west Philly, PA from Woodland Ave. Glad to know this restaurant exists in KCMO. Will definitely order again. Oh, and I'm sooo glad DoorDash increase the restaurant distance options cause I couldn't order from this restaurant on DoorDash before. I'm not always in the downtown Kansas City area to stop by in person. I always tip my delivery person very well for their effort :-D

really good, great seasoning and spice, very filling along with the fufu. the chicken added in had a nice little crisp to it that took the dish up a notch.

Peanut Butter Soup is way too salty. Fufu is good; tastes like mashed potatoes.
