had the Cuban sandwich and the fried boudin egg rolls. First they actually followed instructions. my sandwich was made exactly as I ordered it. I've never had a Cuban sandwich so I can only judge this one but I gotta say that was the best sandwich I've ever had. 10⭐ flavorful. now the egg rolls I couldn't stop eating. no diet for me with this meal today. wanna rate for anyone else who was wondering or thinking about fat spoon, go ahead place and order and enjoy.

Here’s my take on Fat Spoon Café – a breakfast adventure that hit all the notes (and a few surprise notes too).
⸻
⭐ Fat Spoon Café – Hidden Gem Alert ⭐
So there I was, bright-eyed and breakfast-hungry, ordering a Roast Beef Po’ Boy & fries during the early bird hours. When the plate landed, I thought, “Is that au jus or something’s gone rogue in gravy form?” The debris gravy was super watery—more like a beef-flavored pond than a gravy that hugs your taste buds. But hey, that’s what toothpicks and napkins were made for.
Fries: golden, crispy perfection. They had that magical crunch that says, “Yes, dip me, dunk me, eat me.”
BLT: absolutely “bussing”—that trendy word for “bangin’”—packed with bacon so crisp, it practically did a little victory dance between the bread. Delicious.
Cheese grits: dreamy, cheesy, and rich. The catch? They came in a teacup-sized 2–3 oz portion. I blinked. Seriously, who grants Michelin stars for mini portions?
Small oatmeal: the same tiny styrofoam-cup dilemma. It was fine—warm, comforting, but nothing to pen a postcard about. Especially not at that price point.
Meanwhile, my kids inhaled the beignet sticks faster than I could say “powdered sugar.” I didn’t even get a bite, but apparently they were banging too.
And then the biscuit… ooooh, the biscuit. Flaky, scratch-made vibes—like a buttery little pillow of happiness that exfoliates your soul.
⸻
📌 TL;DR – Should you go?
• ⚠️ Beware: gravy that’s more broth than thick—au jus vibes only.
• Fries and BLT: total wins.
• Grits & oatmeal: tasty but tiny for the price.
• Biscuit: a heartfelt hug from the inside.
• Kid-approved beignets: vanish in seconds.
Would I go again? Absolutely. It’s a cozy hidden gem with hot, fresh food and plenty to love (especially if you like bacon and biscuits). Just maybe bring a bigger spoon… or a bigger wallet… or both.
Fat Spoon, you’re a crumb away from perfection—and I’ll gladly come back to keep hunting for those missing grits ounces.

poached eggs Eggs Benedict were over done. Grits had no cheese as requested. Grilled Chicken Breast had side salad missing and sweet potatoe fries were soggy from chicken juice and chicken was dry. Fried Shrimp Po Boy didn't have a lot of shrimp. First time trying this place and we will not order again.

FANTASTIC FOOD!! Eggs Sardou was #chefskiss and the BLT was loaded with bacon and (added) avocado. All seasoned perfectly. Great biscuits.

Famous Shrimp & Grits was the best ive ever eaten. Shrimp omelet was good but couldve used more flavor. Beignet Sticks. Were awesome. Couldve used a little more powdered sugar though. Overall amazing sat. Morning breakfast.
