Floweing tea house is amazing. They always accommodate us with the best vegan options and the flavors are unique, clean, and very tasty. Amazing food and love ordering from here.

If you had previously written this restaurant off under the previous owners, I highly suggest trying it again. They've changed the menu, but there are still vegan options. They're clearly knowledgeable about what the term means, as well as which substitutions/alterations are necessary, and care about ensuring that vegan options are received when ordered. I got the Sesame Vegan Prawns, which were perfectly cooked. The texture was perfect, with a batter that was altwrnately crispy and pleasantly chewy. The Singapore Style Stir Fried Rice was modified to be vegan and had a healthy amount of vegan prawns and chicken with a great curry flavor. It was a bit on the salty side as a side dish but probably would have been perfect as an entree.
The Kung Pao Vegan Chicken sauce was great. They substituted the vegan chicken with vegan beef due to running out of the chicken, and it was cooked perfectly, nice & moist. It's common for vegan proteins to be overcooked and become dried out at non-vegan restaurants, but that definitely wasn't an issue here. The sauces were balanced, not oily, with strong flavors. The fact that it's under new ownership is definitely apparent after trying the new owners' food

Nowhere in the description of the Low Carb BBQ Plate were fried eggs mentioned, and there was no photo, so that surprised me. The Flowering Chicken Wings (5) were yummy!

We love Flowering Tea House! The vegetarian menu has tons of flavorful options including dumplings, soups, mock meats, veggies and lots of spices. We order lunch & dinner here all the time!
