Having grown up nearby in PA, I have had a lot of Maryland crab and crab cakes... this is by far the best I've ever had. Pictures do not do the flavor justice at all, everything was fantastic and the portion sizes were perfect . The cheesesteaks are even superior to most in PA (don't tell anyone I said that!) and we will definitely try more from their menu next time we're in town!

I have had far better crab cakes with blue crab jumbo meat. The size is great but the meat did not taste sweet like blue crab. I ordered mashed potatoes and broccoli as sides. Broccoli was bland without any seasoning and potatoes tasted old and off. Was it the worst, no but not good enough to make me order again.

The Whole Shrimp Salad used to be great here years ago. it would be overflowing with seasoned jumbo shrimp. this had more lettuce than shrimp and absolutely zero flavor. Definitely not ordering from G&M again. $30 for a sub worth $5. The Super Tommy Cake had a chemical taste to it, couldn't get down more than 2 bites. same goes for the bland Large Coleslaw .

I had the Chicken Chesapeake Single and the 4oz Crab Cake Sandwich. They both were very delicious. The crab was so meaty and tasty. I didn't give a 5 start review because my mashed potatoes didn't come with gravy, my sandwich didn't come with condiments like ketchup or mayo and the coleslaw wasn't separate so the juice leaked on the sandwich and made the bun soggy.

As always, G&M food is excellent, especially my Reuben and French Onion soup. The Reuben and fries were a very good portion. G&M is an excellent quality restaurant and carryout.
