They fully followed instructions and everything was tasty, but the fried chicken was kind of a dud. Not very crispy and there were still actual feathers attached to the wings. Tasted okay, but disappointing.

My problem is that Gelson's doesn't disclose the actual size of the deli items listed on their menu.
What I got from Gelson's Kitchen on DoorDash is single-serve 8 oz plastic containers with maybe 4 to 7 ozs of Potato Salad, Super Chinese Slaw and Macaroni & Cheese.
The Heat & Serve Chicken Noodle Soup and Heat & Serve Clam Chowder I got aren't the pre-packaged 14-16 oz ones in the salad bar. They're in 8oz paper cup.
I spoke with the store. My takeaway is it's doubtful they'll update their DoorDash menu to reflect what you're actually ordering.

This store has gone downhill from the first time I ordered till now. And I'm not sure I can get any lower but I'm not gonna be ordering to find out. Everything is overpriced. But you want a sandwich that's good and you don't wanna go out and get cold cuts yourself, you order. Previously, at least the meat was decent. I actually even specified in the notes to ask for boars head if I could have it (and I believe that's what I've gotten in the past), but this was one teeny step above Arby's roast beef - it had a taste but not of beef and was fatty and just yucky. And the only bread option is whole wheat bread, so do they give you whole wheat bread? No, they give you whole grain bread with 85 different nuts and seeds, and what not in it which is just not pleasant for a sandwich - at least not this one. a couple of very thin slices of American cheese and again I think it was Some generic lowest cost garbage - like the stuff you get in the plastic wrap, but even worse. Real American cheese has a good taste. I would have preferred Cheddar, but that is not offered (which is absurd).
Instead of potato wedges, it's like french fries, but I don't know how they cooked them simultaneously soggy and dry and again really have no taste - well, no potato taste.
$31 before all the fees, what a waste!

Some of the best sandwiches always fresh taste good and the coleslaw and fruit is very tasty as well.well portion and wrapped very secure.

The chicken wings were hard unable to eat I feel like the sauce was added to hide the bad prep/overlooking of the chicken wings. Over priced for what I got. Mashed potatoes were bland no real flavor. waste of my 70.+dollers. The cucumbers in the salad were limp no crunch. Just wish I could get a refund. Very unhappy with this food order and still hungry.
