the nachos are the absolute best! that was the daily special the day I ordered - not listed on the menu, but call Gilhooley's, and they have a recording that tells you what the daily special is. the food tasted amazing, and the portions are above and beyond big!

you can't go wrong with gilhooley's cheeseburger. it comes with french fries and it's under $11. it is handmade and fresh and the boudin balls also made fresh are big and awesome also! 12 out of 10!CheeseburgerBoudin Balls

As usual, the catfish, along with raw onions and hushpuppies were excellent. Next time don't cook quite so long...love the usual golden brown. Fried okra is always amazing!! They Always supply me with plenty of lemons and tartar sauce.

Fried catfish and shrimp. Delicious...shrimp were golden brown and tender. Catfish filet melts in your mouth! Huge portions. Excellent dinner.
