Since moving to Nashville from Illinois 4 years ago I've been seriously disappointed in the pizza scene. I ordered Gio's tonight on a whim, and I will NEVER order from anywhere else again. The Tavern Pepperoni is the perfect blend of chewy crispy crust, gooey cheese and a little bit of heat from the sauce and pepperoni. Seriously, this is the best pizza in Nashville.

Way WAY overpriced. This is not Chicago deep dish. It is cooked in that style and the crust wall is good and normal, but the pizza is thinner than a standard Dominoes pie. A pound of cheese and toppings is an absolute joke.
The side tavern style slice I got was at least a day old.
Sad..I was excited for this type of pizza near me.

Fantastic Chicago tavern style thin crust and awesome deep dish as well.
Their Italian beef is the best outside of Chicago!! The Italian sausage is made in house by Chef Greg and it is amazing!

The Caesar salad was very fresh and delicious with yummy dressing. My roast beef sandwich was delicious. Best of all was the Chicago style deep dish pepperoni pizza. It was amazing.

The deep dish cheese felt a bit under. The crust on the bottom was softer, not crispy, and the rim, while cooked, didn't have the browning that gives you the visual texture a pizza edge should. Otherwise good toppings.
