The Italian Wedding Soup is truly divine. The Meatballs (2) are home and genuine and the Chicken Milanese is always a wonderful treat.
A family-owned, local restaurant that never fails!

Always a spectacular, healthy meal.
The Italian Wedding Soup is truly a gem; delicious broth, pastina, fresh vegetables and meat. The meatballs are most definitely homemade; generous in size, in a light plum tomato sauce. The chicken Milanese is my go-to; it's always a wonderful treat.
Fantastic, local restaurant that delivers authentic food that you can taste is genuinely made by hand.
You can't go wrong with Gio's.

I like to keep my business local, and fresh, homemade pizza for a treat once are the heart and soul of Gio's.
Amazing chicken tenders; not smothered in a mountain of greasy, cheap breading but an astoundingly crisp, light coating that isn't greasy. While I am not a fan of sauces, Gio's Combo has a wide variety of homemade sauces to accompany them.
The pizza is, as always, a wonderful treat. Fresh dough, NY-quality sauce, dough and cheese. Thin, crisp, but not burned with a perfect blend of a light coating of cheese and their amazing sauce.
Wonderful addition to NEPA!!

The Chicken Milanese was excellent, albeit I cannot eat leafy vegetables or uncooked vegatables. See the attached photos, the protein was substantial, well-cooked and delicious. I do take concern with a raw lemon placed on a piece of cooked chicken. Pastina (Grandmas Penicillin) was a bizarre experience. I don't believe that the menu states any cheese product is included or added, but as you'll see from the photos; some type of cheese was added. There never was in my past orders for this soup. Thus, it sits in my garbage and down the disposal.
I always prefer local restaurants for, what is a treat for me, but there shouldn't be these radical changes and variations. This is why chain restaurants stay in business: Consistency....

Great, local restaurant. The Italian Wedding Soup is most definitely handmade. The Meatballs (2) are incredible, genuine and not the frozen garbage most restaurants will send out. Enormous (see photo) in a nice, light plum tomato sauce. The Chicken Milanese is always a nice treat. It's not greasy, or overwhelming.
My only wish is Gio's to offer linguine with olive oil and garlic.
Great, local, fresh food. You can't go wrong.
