• DoorDash orderI like how they give you more for your money, the portion sizes (including injera) are huge and that means leftovers! So that's good. I got the Veggie Combo, Gojo Salad, and Juice. Wasn't sure what kind of juice it was, but ordered out of curiosity. It was orange soda, which was not bad, but a very misleading name on the menu as the can says "contains no juice." As for the veggie combo, the Mitten Shiro was definitely my favorite. Perfect texture, and deliciously savory! I also enjoyed the cabbage and gomen wot. Gomen wot tasted slightly different than in other Ethiopian restaurants I tried, but not in a bad way! Just seems like different seasoning. The yemisser wot was okay, but the lentils were a little hard. Ater kik was very different than what I've had before. Seems like an entirely different flavor profile. More sour, maybe like tomato sauce? And not the usual yellow color. Not really my thing but to each their own. The Gojo Salad was okay, but the dressing was bland. I could still tell it was Ethiopian salad dressing, but it was very watered down. Basically just plain lettuce, tomato, and onions. No jalapeños, potatoes, or other vegetables. Overall? I'd come back for the mitten shiro on its own. That was 5 stars easily. That and all the extra injera!

• DoorDash reviewthis review doesn't have my order as I was learning the review platform, none the less, their menu is a little vague as to quantity of product vs price, I don't mind paying so long as I know more clearly what I'm getting (the price for sambusa is for 1 individual pastry) injera is good though a little too sour for my palate, this may be something about this cuisine I have to develop a taste for and I'm willing to do so. The greens remind me of the south minus the brown sugar really good. The goat is a little tough and could be more tender. Sauce is good and has a nice flavor to it.

• DoorDash orderGojo is usually my go-to Ethiopian Restaurant in San Jose. My husband ordered the Meat Combination enthusiastically for his visiting family to try (who have never had Ethiopian food before). The plate was very short on 1 of the beef dishes sadly. I'm not sure if the restaurant wad running out due to closing time (which is early), but I wish they had called us to sub yemissir wat or anything else instead of skimping. Unfortunate experience which left my in laes still hungry.

• DoorDash orderEverything was just meh. Also, the Veggie Combo does NOT come with a salad. Mudai and Zeni are much better.
