My wife and I probably eat from Gosport Tavern once a week- our favorite spot in Portsmouth! You owe it to yourself to try the Caesar salad (with salmon or fried chicken) and the fish and chips, and the sandwiches are all fantastic. If you go in person on Sunday, they also have an excellent brunch!

The Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap and Fried Garlic Cheese Curds were great. I wasn't a huge fan of the homemade fries/chips.

This is my first time trying this restaurant and I must say I was nervous but excited. I live in Oldtowne and have basically ate everywhere except here. When I say they did not disappoint THEY DID NOT. The Hushpuppies are so amazing! Great size and taste (it has the corn in it!) They are the reason I tried them because I was craving. The Southern Fried Shrimp flavorful and green beans, fresh and garlicy... yumm. Defintely a top place to eat out here. A new staple for me for sure. I can only imagine evrything else is good too!
