100% Angus Beef patties, oversized salads, fresh fish tacos, and two-handed sandwiches fill the menu at this updated ode to the classic roadside joint from brothers Joel and Duncan Gott (if the name J…
Ah, Gott’s Roadside a veritable bastion of fine American casual dining. During my recent order, I had the opportunity to indulge in a harmonious trifecta of culinary craftsmanship: the Chili Cheese Dog, Garlic Fries, and the Berry Lemon Freeze. Permit me to elucidate.
The Chili Cheese Dog stands as a testament to Gott’s commitment to quality. Featuring a 100% beef Niman Ranch Fearless Frank, it exudes a robust yet refined flavor profile, skillfully complemented by the vibrancy of diced red onions. Notably, the cheddar cheese and house made chili are served on the side a thoughtful decision that not only preserves the integrity of the ingredients but also empowers the diner to calibrate their experience to personal taste. This attention to detail encapsulates the artistry of dining, ensuring that the Chili Cheese Dog transcends mere sustenance.
Accompanying this were the Garlic Fries, a dish whose execution borders on the sublime. Each golden fry is generously tossed in fragrant garlic butter and delicately adorned with parsley, yielding an elevated expression of what is often considered a pedestrian side. The balance of textures and flavors crisp exterior, tender interior, savory and aromatic demonstrates a level of care that Gott’s applies to even the most humble components of its menu.
And then there was the Berry Lemon Freeze, a revelation in the realm of frozen beverages. Hand spun with the utmost precision, it combines the natural vibrancy of berry sorbet with The Perfect Purée’s lemon zest and their own house made lemonade. This beverage is not merely a refreshment it is a carefully curated expression of high quality ingredients, seamlessly woven into an invigorating tapestry of taste.
Gott’s Roadside, in its pursuit of culinary excellence, has once again succeeded in delivering not just a meal but an experience. For those with discerning palates, it is an excursion I would wholeheartedly recommend. Bravo.

Our orders have always been 100% correct and quick. The food is delicious. The burgers are right off the grill and remind me of camping burgers which is always wonderful. The onion rings are SO Good. I order extras with every order and freeze the leftovers then airfry them later. Works great! Their cheese sauce is perfect. Just enough roasted green chili flavor but not spicy. Perfection!

The cheeseburger was fine but the chicken tenders were tiny, more like nuggets, and dry. I expected more when each tender is almost $2. No ranch dressing was provided either. Disappointed :(

Avacado tacos are good. It's unfortunate there's only one piece of avocado so it doesn't even fill up the tortilla (hence one star off) but overall, tasty. Cheese fries might be good fresh but once delivered, had already gotten cold. Cheese sauce was on the side so that's a plus. Decent flavor overall but nothing too special. Housemade lemonade is good. Not too strong but clean, refreshing taste.

The Dungeness crab Louis's and crab sandwich are to die for. The sandwich is almost as good as the Bodega Bay Spud Point Crab Company crab sandwich (which is world famous). Get them while the special still exists
