Gran Caffe L'Aquila is hands down my favorite Italian spot in the city (and I am italian!!). This week special from Verona and for Valentine's day is amazing, I had the pasta with duck sauce and it is fresh, tasty and really hit the spot. I just love Gran Caffe!

I love their pistacchio cornetto, this time unfortunately I only received the Nutella one. I believe there was an error in the system. They are always on top of special requests. The brioche is also amazing!!

Arancini was good but not quite what I was expecting. It was a single shred of pork a pinch of beef and one little nodule of cheese engulfed in the risotto. Wish the filling was a little more forward but taste overall was good. The Brodetto Triestina seafood stew was very good, bit too salty (and I like salt) but eating it with the croustini it came with helped balance it all out
