I'm not a huge boba fan - not because I don't like it. I just generally don't find it worth the calories/carbs. I also don't live in California so I don't have access to all the best boba places either. On this trip to the land of boba, I decided to try 2 shops. The first one was really good. Then I tried Grapeholic. OMG. This is THE BEST BOBA I have EVER had hands down. I'm sad that I don't have time to come back on this trip, but it will be the first place I come back to when I'm here again. The Cotton Candy Grape Slush / 青提满杯 and Mango Pomelo Sago / 杨枝甘露 were both AMAZING!! Definitely glad I found this place and tried these.

Taro & Milk / 芋泥鲜奶 The drink tasted very salty??? Yeah, that's not a type - it wasn't too sweet, it was straight up SALTY. Also, I added mochi as a topping but the mochi was so soft that it just melted into the drink.

Highly recommend their grape drinks (less sweet) for grape lovers. Their taro and mochi black milk tea is to the point, too! Soft and milky mochi and strong tea flavor.

Might be my worst experience with Grapeholic so far, i ordered their famous pure grape and you can see the cheese foam is way too much, which made this too heavy to drink. I can barely have this drink.
