This is the food you cant stop eating even when you're full! The flavor is amazing. Nothing is dry. Both the chicken and beef melt in your mouth. The Empanadilla de Res / Beef Empanadilla's are big enough to split in half and save for later or share! Portions are a super good size. Cannot go wrong here. The lady was even nice enough to call me about a special request I had and she was a joy to speak with!

Smaller container & smaller portions ( about 1/4 cup of beans if that) Unfortunately the flavor in the pork was bland & not much seasoning in the beans. The rice was ok. I have cooked this dish for over 35 years but once in awhile I need a break so I've ordered here before & it just wasn't the same. Such a great family that runs this place & first time being disappointed with the quality. 2 dinner combos as pictured, door dashed with tip cost me $50.

Their food is always amazing!
My go-to is the pernil (pulled pork) with arrow con gandules (yellow rice w/ pigeon peas and frijoles (beans). The pernil is juicy and when you add the frijoles and caldo when you eat it with the arroz, the combo is so good!
I also love their empanadillas and chicharon! Desserts are also amazing! Tres Leches and the banana puddings are some of my faves!

Hands down this is the BEST PR food I've had outside of my grandmas' kitchen. The most flavorful arroz con gandules. Also the beans were out of this world. you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients used in every dish. Best of all was the Pastelillos De Guayaba / Guava Pastelillos pastry. The filling was like biting into a fresh guava. Even in Puerto Rico I've never had one better. Absolutely amazing food and I'm already looking forward to my next meal!!

Portion size was better than my first visit, however the flavor is still missing. Had to drench it in hot sauce. The cream cheese pastry was amazing though.
