Gyros Stop has been a staple in Springfield, Illinois since 1984, specializing in Greek-American cuisine. It was started by the Christofilakos family and is still currently family owned and operated.
The gyros was excellent...way more than I could eat in one setting. The fries were a very generous portion. They tasted like homemade and not too salty. I would definitely recommend.

Gyro was good though I wish I had more sauce added. Feta Fries were okay.

The Falafel were very mushy. More like mashed potato balls than actual falafel. The Sweet Corn Nuggets (10) weren't cooked all the way so they were also mushy.

this is the second time they forgot my sauce I pd extra for it and again they forgot. the gyro is great but it's dry due to them not giving me the sauce I ordered and pd for. won't order again from here
