I am astonished by how good this place is. Wow. The Harborview Beef and Kung Pao Chicken
are incredibly delicious! This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in SF!!!

I ordered takeout from here tonight (Aug 2024) for a quick meal close to my hotel - TL: DR: lukewarm food with lukewarm flavor. I chose the Harborview Beef - cold and tasteless...not sure why there was a lemon wedge with my food. And the meat flavor was sweet. The veggie fried rice was hot, but I've not experienced a less flavorful fried rice before...even the veggies were undercooked, and no sauce or egg. The Singapore Crab looked appetizing, but the sauce was also sweet and mildly spicy. Unfortunately, it was too difficult to eat without proper utensils. Finally, I added mushrooms with mustard greens - and it was honestly the best dish: hot, flavorful with rich mushroom and spicy greens. I would have preferred fewer stalks or smaller, more tender stalks - but the flavor and temperature were great. I spent over $100 on dinner and wished I would have just eaten at the hotel bar.

The Salted Fish Chicken Fried Rice 鹹魚雞粒炒飯 could use more Salted Fish, but overall was ok, albeit a bit dry. I do wish there were a smoky wok (wok hei) taste, which would have elevated the dish.
This dish was quite pricey. After taxes, service fees, and tip, it came out to 30 USD.

What an unpleasant surprise. After having been my favorite restaurant for years, today's order was unacceptable. Congee was bland, pork belly was 100% fat without meat and pineapple buns had no pineapple in the custard.i
Don't ever order those dishes.
