The food is absolutely amazing. It's fresh and the teriyaki sauce is perfect. The rice is fluffy and perfect. I'm from Amarillo and we don't have this and that makes me sad!! I am going to look into that!!

first time eating from the restaurant, I chose the $20 mixed plate, which I assumed would be a decent size entree portion. With that being said, it looks like a 4oz portion on each meat, running restaurants for almost 20 years. I can tell you 4 Oz portion is a standard portion. There is mostly just rice under the meat. The flavor is decent but not overly great. The vegetables have no season . Food is ok, but there is nothing I would ever pay for again for the price.

Fantastic as always. I havent gotten anything i dont like..great portions for price..dobtalways get pineapple bbq sauce, though a d that us my fa orite part..lol and there is no option to request extra so i always call to ask..theyre always really nice and i live theyre open really late.

I had the Classic - Mixed Plate with Huli Huli chicken and Molokai chicken. The meat was cooked perfectly, with no gristle or rubbery bits like you often find. The Molokai was tasty but definitely had a little heat for me but I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to spiciness. The Huli Huli was delicious. I didn't enjoy the Mac salad but there was nothing wrong with it, just not my cup of tea.

Molokai chicken was a new dish for me, and so worth trying for the first time. it was flavorful and the wonderful array of vegetables I received was also delicious. fresh pineapple, the perfect contrast to it all. yum!!
