I thought that maybe it was a little pricy for the amount of food but it was incredible. The taste is definitely worth the value and it was packaged very well.

Hill country is my go to for brisket and I usually eat at the re but ordered some sandwiches for the game tonight. I separated the meat from the bun so the bread didnt get soggy and im so glad i did! There are really big sections of fat that would be gross to bite into. Like the brisket wasn't trimmed. Im all about a nice deckle in moist brisket but this is excessive. I'll chalk this up to a one off because they are normally excellent but if you order the Lunch Sliced Brisket Sandwich maybe specify you want it lean.

Having lived in TX for a few years makes me cautious of BBQ anywhere else - but Hill Country is very good! The lean brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, with sides of beans with burnt ends, longhorn cheddar mac and sweet potato bourbon mash made a dinner with friends fun and like a quick trip to the SW (no airplanes required). We did have to reheat some things but it tasted great. Even had some leftovers.

Brisket was good. But frustrating that here is nowhere to request or purchase extra barbecue sauce. 1 small tiny sauce container is not enough.
Also paying for 1 tiny slice of onion is ridi
