The best Indian food I've ever had! The butter cicken and sadeko momo dumplings are a MUST and have the perfect amountif kick! Portions are huge for the price.

One of my many favorites at the Himalayan Cafe is the Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan!! It's my perfect rainy day meal. They come very well proportioned, that this makes 2 meals for me! Their Lamb Biryani is also amazing! But don't take my word, go try it yourself! You won't be disappointed

Alright, buckle up because I'm about to dive deep into why that Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan was the absolute best thing you've ever tasted! First off, the Chicken Tikka Masala is a symphony of flavors. You've got the smoky, charred bits of marinated chicken, which are just bursting with spices like cumin, coriander, and turmeric. Then, BAM! The creamy tomato-based sauce hits you, rich with butter, cream, and maybe a hint of sweetness to balance the spice. Now, let's not forget the Garlic Naan. It’s not just bread; it’s an experience. The slight char from the tandoor oven, the soft, pillowy texture, and those glorious bits of garlic that just explode in your mouth with each bite. When you use that naan to scoop up the Chicken Tikka Masala, it’s like the universe aligns. The bread soaks up all that delicious sauce, and the garlic adds another layer of flavor that complements the spices perfectly. Seriously, it's a culinary masterpiece!

It was soooooo good! So much flavor and just the perfect amount of spice. Great portion sizes. The Mango Lassi was delicious so smooth and sweet. The vegetable Veg jhol momo I would definitely get this again I've never had it in a broth but it was fire. The Lamb Biryani was delicious i just wish i would've gotten a whole boiled egg and not a half and a better lamb to rice ratio it was a lot of rice but it was so delicious.

Beware the portions of biryani are huge. It can feed 2 comfortably maybe 3.we ordered the Shrimp Biryani , Chicken Biryani, and the Lamb Biryani. They were all tasty. The meats were very flavorful and just a little spicy. The chicken lollipop, Kothey Momo , and Aloo Zeera were also great. We sampled all the desserts. They are different from anything I have ever tasted. They are not sweet like American desserts. The Bread pudding was very mushy almost watery. The Gajar ka halwa has a mushy texture as well. From the picture I was thinkingit was a texture like funnel cake but it was more like a stiff porridge. It was sweeter than the other desserts. The Gulab Jamun were like slightly sweet donut holes and the Kheer was a very milky rice pudding more milk than rice and only a hint of sweetness. Overall we enjoyed the meal but the desserts weren't are favorite.
