I absolutely ADORE Bhatura (2 pcs) ☆ and this serving was an excellent mix of crispy and fluffy. the Madras (Coconut) ☆ with shrimp was flavorful, and we both thought the Vegetable Pakora ☆ was some of the best we've had.

BIRYANI ☆ mild with goat meat was not good. Flavor wasn't the same as I've had at other places. There was some additional flavor that I personally didn't enjoy. The meat was big pieces of gristle, fat and bone with a little bit of meat. And my 'mild' is not the same as theirs. This Norwegian girl's mouth is still burning, even after a piece of naan. MEAT SAMOSA (2 PIECES) ☆ were soggy. CHUTNEYS ☆ (tamarind) was very thin. NAAN ☆ was fine.

The CHICKEN MOMO ☆ was under cooked. Threw the whole dish out and the KULFI ☆ came in one of those small side sauce cups. $5 for that?

The best chicken pakoras in town! The naan is always fresh, soft and delicious; I had the chilly chicken and chicken tikka masala, as well, everything was absolutely delicious. This is my new favorite restaurant!

I ordered from them on August 21st. On September 3rd, I originally gave them 4 stars because no one told me until I arrived that they were out of Kulfi. I knew they were out of the Gajar Ko Halwa. I wasn't able to get my money back via DoorDash, so they were going to call me when they had the desserts in so I could get what I paid for. I eventually gave them only 1 star on September 8th after so much time had gone by & I had called them on the days they said they would have it, but didn't. Finally, on Saturday September 9th, I called & they actually had the items in the restaurant. I was able to get the Gajar Ko Halwa & the Mango Kulfi. When I got home, I realized that they also included the Pistachio Kulfi, which I didn't expect. I thought that was very kind of them. They are hard workers & want everyone to leave happy. Both flavors of Kulfi were delicious and so was the Gajar Ko Halwa. I will leave it at 4 stars because I enjoyed the food overall, but it took from August 21st - September 8th to get the two desserts I couldn't get refunded for. I still encourage anyone to try their food. I thought there were only two Indian restaurants in Fargo. I will definitely order from Himalayan Yak again.
