Toraya invites you to envision how it would feel to sit in the old Hinode-ya, which is decorated with reclaimed old wood obtained from houses over 100 years old and lit with Edison electric light bulb…
My favorite Ramen bowl in the Bay Area actually. I order the creamy vegan ramen with added chashu pork and a soft boiled egg. PURE FIRE! So good and consistent every time. Noodles have the perfect bite to it. I also like their gyoza. They are steamed and so many other places default to frying them :/ I recommend this place and my order to all my friends and new hires at work!

Never had this problem until today . The ramen was awful . The noodles was undercooked, barely no veggies and the egg was missing! Three scallops in total for $24 bucks ! The portion was less too. It was awful today !

The Honideya Ramen was very good, nicely packed and fresh ingredients. Broth was just slightly underseasoned for my taste.
Gyoza was excellent and came free with my order. Great add on!
Only minor complaint is I was given no utensils. One would think to including those is a given for a hotel drop off location.

Love the Creamy Ramen (Vegan). Packed well , everything separately. I usually transfer the ingredients into a separate big noodle bowl to get the same experience like at the restaurant. My husband loves the HINODEYA Curry Rice also. Like the fact that every dish is well thought out and executed. I'm not a vegetarian but this is the only ramen place I would order theirs.

My favorite Ramen place is the city, period. Every dish I have ordered thus far are umami-licious - the ramen (I typically order the vegetarian Zen, the seafood Hamaguri, and the house Hinodeya), the chicken karaakage, the small bites.
