Yoooo! Since this was my first time trying Hip Hop I wasn't sure how good it was goingto be. First off the fries were the first thing I tried and they reminded me of boardwalk fries from OC, but with seasoning!!! I said to my wife, "What are they seasoned with, Crack??? Then I tried the Mac & Mac & Cheese and it reminded me of my family's recipe which I love. Then I tried some of the fish and I was amazed at how delicious it was! It was cooked perfectly and was seasoned so well! Then I tried a wing and need I say I was thoroughly impressed! My wifewas reading some previous feedback that mentioned "Crack salt seasoning" and I agreed immediately! Then as I'm enjoying my dinner, I discovered 2 slices of bread under the wax paper! I grabbed a piece of fish and the hot sauce they put in the bag along with a little Coleslaw and enjoyed a tasty fish sandwich!! I'm very happy that I tried Hip Hop Fish and Chicken, I will be a return customer!

My chicken and fish both seemed dry...and the wings were TINY...and the jumbo shrimp were VERY SALTY. I only ate ONE. I would definitely recommend dining in, or picking it up. I think part of the problem may have been how long it took to get here, because I've never had dry fish or chicken when I've gone to pick the food up.

This is our first time trying Hop Hop Fish & Chicken. We had high hopes, but we couldn't be more dissapointed in our order. EVERYTHING was so intensely salty that we couldn't eat any of it except the coleslaw that came with the meal. It's good, but there was literally only 1½ tablespoons of that. One bite each. Pitiful. We expected a big side for some reason. We ordered Chicken Livers and two À La Carte thighs. All so salty as to be inedible. The fries? Too salty. Last ditch effort, we tried to peel the skin off of the thighs, but it didn't help. What a disappointment and a waste of money. We were getting subs from Wawa before deciding to try Hip Hop. I guess that's what we're doing now. They're always pretty good. I don't know if we got a very bad order or if that's their style and everyone likes crazy salty food. Truly, this was a no-star meal and it's in our trash.

I'm hooked! I highly recommend this place! I was skeptical about trying the collard greens, but they are always tender and well seasoned! The chicken is amazing! I give them a 5/5!!!

Ordered the catfish and wings which came with slaw and french fries. Nice size portions. Ate half and was full so I have leftovers for tomorrow. Ordered a side of fried okra. Nice size portion too. I could only eat half. I liked the seasoning on the fish. The wing were fried crispy like I like them.
