We've ordered from almost all of the local sushi/Japanese and mixed Asian menu restaurants, with inconsistent results. Not sure how we overlooked Hokkaido, but this was our first time and it was excellent. Most importantly, the sushi (tuna/avocado roll, salmon/cucumber roll, yellowtail/scallion roll) was very fresh and delicious. The dumpling soup was both very flavorful, and piping hot on arrival (almost unheard of for delivery), and both hot entrees - the salmon teriyaki and the shrimp hibachi - were excellent. The mixed Japanese fried noodles were packed with flavor and chock full of beef, chicken, and shrimp. And they followed our special instructions to a tee. They even put a small plate of mini cake pieces as a dessert. Hokkaido will be our new go-to for Japanese/sushi options - wish we found them two years ago!

Hands down the best ramen I've had in a long time. The Seafood Ramen (try it spicy) is full of fresh seafood, perfect spices, and the noodles are cooked just right so that they'll be perfect after you pour in the broth. The Pork Gyoza and Sakura Roll are also some of my favorites. If you get a chance to dine in, do it. Service and staff are awesome.

I had better tempura spicy salmon roll than ths one: this is my first time ordering fom doordash.
And would also be the last. The salmon piece too small of a serving. In Sakura, where orders often has bigger portion of salmon, avocado and cream cheese.

I find myself ordering from Hokkaido a few times a week because of how good their food and service are. Requested a spicy modification to the Shoyu Ramen (Chashu Pork) and boy did they deliver. The House Special Yakitori was a big hit with my brother, as were the Pork Gyoza and Crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon are loaded with crab, unlike some places, and the blend with the cream cheese strikes the perfect balance. We are yet to find anything in the menu that isn't outstanding. Order with confidence and enjoy some real, authentic Japanese food!

Soo good!! I'm very picky with Japanese Spring Rolls- if they're mushy or too much mushrooms I don't like them but these were DELICIOUS probably the best I've ever had! The dipping sauce was sweet and spicy and really hit the mark. Sushi was fresh, big pieces of shrimp in the Shrimp Tempura roll. Awesome, will order again.
