Everything is always amazing! Flour tortillas and brisket are especially good here.

Classic Migas, Andy's Migas, Trinity taco, Guadalupe taco & Brisket Quesadilla are all phenomenal. i love the red sauce and Pickled Red Onions 3oz too. I've from Home State 4 times since 12/20. The above last me 3 days. Portions are large, tacos are large. i love this place

Not sure what happened today with my order at Homestate. My potato taco was ICE COLD like it was kept in the fridge. The sour cream didn't look or smell fresh and it was congealed. I also purchased a chocolate chip cookie which is typically a very nice treat. Today is was hard as a rock and it looked like someone tipped over the salt container onto it. I know it's a salted cookie, but the salt is supposed to be an added flavor, not be the main ingredient. I've brought so many friends and family members to HomeState when they first opened so when I come here a few years later and the quality is deteriorating but the prices are higher, it's not fair at all to loyal customers.

Love having Home State when I'm visiting. The Quesadilla with Shredded Brisket is my go-to. It's even better when it gets cold and more towards room temp. The cheese hardens up and the flavors come together just right.
My only issue this order was I asked for Red Salsa ONLY and with the quesadilla a 1 oz cup of red salsa was sent. You can barely dip the corner of the tortilla in the cup. If someone asks for Red Salsa ONLY then at least give them two little cups. Dont just remove the green salsa that normally comes alongside the red. Shortchanged in the salsa dept.
Then since I ordered Chips & Salsa and had asked for Red Salsa ONLY, I thought I'd have only RED, but I got one each. Green and red.
Again shortchanged in the red salsa dept.
Otherwise, food is great. Red salsa, yum.
