WOW!!! This food was even better than I expected, which was a lot based on prior reviews. The location is clear across town yet our food arrived super hot and fresh. Order was carefully packaged and we received all items ordered. Everything was seasoned perfectly and packed with flavor. I had the Half Bird and it was some of the best I've ever had!! Crispy seasoned and cooked perfect. All sides were amazing, the Cake and Sauce was to die for and the Kool-Aid was even perfect. Cant recommend this spot enough. Our first time but will now be our go to for southern/soul food in lex. Do your stomach a favor and order now. You nor your wallet will be disappointed. 10/10

I got a pork chop dinner w/mac & cheese & yams. Very impressed w/the pork chop~cooked just right, very tender. Also,the 1st time w/ Kool-Aid. Just right. If you want your money's worth,order from HONEY J'S!On point.

Wow! Visiting Lexington and I've already eaten here over 3x. Fish is great. Chicken is awesome. Mac and cheese delicious. Collards very tender. Cake and sauce is tasty. Pink Lemonade is so refreshing. Great spot for a taste of souldfood! Honey wings are sauced very well. Nice size wings and pretty large pieces of fish. Worth the money every time! Yams are amazing!

honey J's is sooo good! the Honey J's Fried Chicken Sandwich is amazing the sauce is really tasty the sandwich is big and filling and delicious! the fried Fried Mushrooms are amazing! I love fried mushrooms! the Mac n cheese reminds me of my grandma's! and the prices are amazing affordable and reasonable for the big plate of food you get with a meal!

You get two large pieces of fish and for pieces of shrimp with lots of flavor. It's cooked to order so your food will be delivered to you hot and fresh. 10/10 recommend and I will be ordering again !! And I can't forget about that cornbread it's chef kiss
