• DoorDash orderAll my veggies were hot and fresh! Tastes homemade! The cowboy beans didn't have a description so I didnt know what to expect but they super good! Glad I tried this place while visiting Austin! Okra was the perfect crisp! The jalapeño spinach has a little kick but is delicious and the black eyed peas are soooo GOOD!!! Soul food ;)

• DoorDash orderDon't sleep on the beans! There's a good reason they offer several different bean sides. Favorite sides: butter beans, cowboy beans, tomato + okra. Get you some BBQ chicken, catfish, and for fun get a ton of sides to share! Hoovers kid's meals are portioned to actually fill up a 10 year old.

• DoorDash orderThe star of the show for me was the butter beans; but the mashed potatoes and chicken fried chicken was delicious.
The food is rich and flavorful and everything came hot and well packaged.
In total we tried the catfish is flaky and moist, servings were large and sooooo filling.

• DoorDash orderas always Hoover's Cooking doesn't disappoint, in fact, good old Southern Cooking, done right, renews the soul. Hoover's 4 Housemates hit the spot. I had sweet potatoes, jalapeño spinach, okra with tomatoes, and butter beans.

My Fried Catfish (5pc) & 2House Mates is SO good. The catfish is flavorful and crispy. The fries are still hot and have an added batter flavor. My mac n' cheese... SO good.
I highly recommend Hoover's!!!
