The value here is AMAZING!!! The serving is enoug for more than two people. You can tell it is served fresh with well prepped ingredients. The flavor was there, and it looked so appetizing! 10/10 will be ordering again.

They let me build my own potato, nacho cheese, steak, and jalapeño it was super delicious. Will definitely return to the spot and try the other potatoes that they have if you're looking for a great potato bar this is it.

The culinary options in Carson City being what they are, we have ordered twice from "the new potato place." The experience is full of mystery (dealers choice sodas- no substitutions) and intrigue (vivid AI menu descriptions and photos that describe how these fanciful food items might "typically" be prepared.) If you're into that sort of thing, note that there are many vegan options, most heavily laden with cheese and butter.
The first time we ordered the Stubborn Soda we found it charming that no flavor options were available - we may be the weirdos ordering $60 worth of potatoes to eat on the couch on a friday night, but we're fun. Who doesn't love a surprise? The second time we ordered two sodas, hoping to increase our chances of scoring a black cherry, but instead we got two fountain cokes with safety seals, one of which was half full and likely spilled. The potatoes were left on the porch in 3 bent, leaky takeout containers with no such safety seals, encased in a greasy, satuarated paper bag from which the bottom had fallen out.
The classic Sour Cream Chive Potato is the winner and was the star of the show. The first time it came without butter and needed to be supplemented with kerrygold. The second order was swimming in butter (theres still some on our front porch) and was flaky and delicious. It still needed salt. There is no option to order extra sour cream.
The avocado salad was a simple vinaigrette with plenty of cucumbers and no avocado, but to be fair, potatoGPT had only indicated that the salad "might typically" contain avocado. The mac n cheese potato was dreadful, which is a shame because that dish has a lot of potential. It tasted like rubbery Kraft. We shan't be ordering it again.
Birria Potato was pretty ok... would have been great with extra sour cream. The Chicken Bacon Ranch is solid stoner food and was quite enjoyable on both occasions.
The whole potato experience is reminiscent of a night spent in with your college roommates. If you don't mind playing roulette with your sodas, temper your expectations and dont mind getting a little dirty, I highly recommend.

the size was great but unfortunately it was dry . The potatoe was not fresh and soft ,it tasted kind of old. it did not look like the picture.it was missing that sour cream as shown and the chives
