Anything you order is sure to please your pallet. The BELT for breakfast is really good and filling. The Red Beans are a favorite for lunch/dinner. Food is always fresh, and staff is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your order is correct.

3 words.... Chicken. Fried. Steak. And the cream gravy is a touch sweet, perfect compliment. I've picked up Sunday breakfast to/go for years, which is consistent. fast and delicious. Recently, I stopped in for lunch a few times, and observed the overall operation run like a well oiled machine. I'm 30+ yrs in the restaurant biz, it's refreshing to see a local place stay on top of its game, consistently, for years. In talking with a few of the FOH staff, hearing they are happy, and like coming to work at "HCD". What a concept? Treat your people with respect, and in return Happy Staff=Happy Customers

The food was hot and fresh... I ordered the chicken fried steak and it looked great except for the strange gravy they put on top of it and the mashed potatoes. It is not a milk or sausage gravy but it is sweet and has a grainy texture. Did not like the mystery gravy.

Atomic Q's were appetizer size. Looked like a side and have maybe 3 jalapeños on it? Fried mushrooms were wonderful and tasted fresh.
