The Menchi Curry I ordered was absolutely delicious! I went for extra spicy, and while it wasn’t as fiery as I expected, the flavors were still incredible. As always, the Spam Katsu Fries and Croquettes were perfection—crispy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. This spot never disappoints!

I was so excited when I saw a real Japanese curry house was in my delivery area! Lots of places that offer katsu curry are subpar, but this is the real deal! Unbelievably flavorful and decadently rich curry and solid, well-cooked katsu! Would recommend 100 times over, and you must get the curry

I usually love Japanese curry and was excited to try Hurry Curry of Tokyo in Seattle, but my experience was disappointing—especially considering what I ordered and paid for.
I got the Plain Curry with the XL Extra Hot option (which adds extra cost to the base price), expecting both a generous portion and a good kick of spice. Unfortunately, it fell short on both fronts.
First, the portion size labeled “XL” was laughable. It came in a small paper container that looked more like a regular—or even small—serving. Definitely didn’t feel like an XL by any reasonable standard. Charging extra for that kind of upgrade just doesn’t sit right.
Second, the spice level was a huge letdown. I selected the highest available option—Extra Hot—and it was barely spicy. If you enjoy any real heat in your food, this won’t even come close.
If you’re ordering from here, skip the XL upcharge and don’t expect anything spicy. It’s just not worth the added cost unless they improve their portions and deliver on their spice levels.

Literally the chicken katsu curry is heaven on this earth, and no other place even comes close to how delicious the curry is. I finish the whole thing whenever I order it!! So delicious so worth the money!!

Chicken Katsu Curry was much smaller than I expected for $17. Barely enough curry to cover the rice and chicken. I did not like the salad that came with it either - the dressing was a balsamic vinegar and the lettuce leaves were wilted. Had been hoping to try this place for a while but won't be back.
